China represents 6.3% of the worlds landmass and it’s national parks cover a total of 230,00km2. For this National Geographic documentary we mapped the national parks of China onto satellite images of the earth in order to establish their location across this vast country. It was vital to source high resolution satellite imagery for each location so that we could deliver the maps for this documentary presented in stunning 4k resolution.
